Some 22 participants comprised of the Health Transformation project team and Health Transformation Working Group members representing 15 Anishinabek Nation First Nations gathered virtually.

The Anishinabek Nation Chiefs-in-Assembly passed Resolution #2016-07 First Nation Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) and Resolution #2019-08 Anishinabek Nation Health Transformation, directing the Anishinabek Nation Health Secretariat to engage in dialogue with the provincial and federal governments to develop a model to provide services and funding for health to Anishinabek First Nations.

CHIPPEWAS OF GEORGINA ISLAND FIRST NATION – A resolution was passed at the Anishinabek Nation Grand Council Assembly in Chippewas of Georgina Island First Nation that gives authority to the Health Department at the Anishinabek Nation head office to proceed with negotiations with Canada and Ontario in regards to asserting Anishinabek jurisdiction over health.
