HAMILTON – The Anishinabek Nation’s Health Transformation Team met with Dr. Jennifer Walker, Associate Professor at McMaster University, to discuss a possible collaboration to improve data collection. The meeting took place on Jan. 10 at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ont.

The Anishinabek Nation Chiefs-in-Assembly passed Resolution #2016-07 First Nation Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) directing the Anishinabek Nation Health Secretariat to engage in dialogue with the provincial and federal governments to develop a model to provide services and funding for health to Anishinabek First Nations.
